Important information
Setting Times:
08:45– 12:15 or 11.45 -3:15 Monday to Friday Term time only
A copy of the terms are displayed on the parents notice board, details are also given in the Pre School Newsletter.
All children must be collected on time if you are later than this time a fine will be imposed to cover the cost of staff having to care for your child at the rate of £5.00 per 30 minutes.
It is vital that we are told if someone other than the usual parent/carer will be collecting your child. We will not let your child be collected by a minor (under the age of 18).
If a child is not collected the staff can inform Social Services that the child has been left in their care.
Pre School Learning Alliance:
Little pips is an active member of the Pre School Learning Alliance and its constitution is broadly outlined by the Pre School Learning Alliance.
Admission Criteria:
The Pre School is registered with OFSTED of 24 Children a copy of our certificate is displayed on the Parents Notice Board. Children can be admitted to the Pre School at the beginning of the term in which they are three if there is a place otherwise it would be on their third birthday, again if we have a place.
2 years old can be taken after their 2nd birthday
Whereas some children are very confident on arrival at the Pre School, some children will need a brief period to adjust. Please stay with your child until you are sure they are happy about being left. The staffs are very experienced and will give you help and advice in this matter should you wish.
Funding:
We are in receipt of free early entitlement (FEEE) through the Local Authority for vunerable 2 year olds, eligible 3 and 4year olds. This is paid to the Pre School the term after your child’s second and third birthdays.
Fees:
We do extra hours and provide extra services
At reasonable rate
Children who are not in receipt of the FEEE pay £12.00 per session
(FEEE starts the term after your child’s third birthday)
We request that the fees are paid promptly every Monday morning and is payable for the week, half term or full term. If paying directly into the bank or by cheque this must be done termly in advance It is also payable on the days that your child does not attend the setting although exceptions to this is –
